The local services directory
The people who make ownership work — from legal checks to renovation and holiday-rental care. The directory is currently in development; every future entry will be personally reviewed before it appears here.
Licensed real estate agencies
Registered Croatian agencies covering Trogir, Čiovo and Seget — the professionals who market properties, arrange viewings and guide negotiations.
Worth asking before you commit: which properties they represent directly rather than pass along, what their fee is and who pays it, and whether they can show their agency registration. An agency that answers all three plainly is easier to work with than one that changes the subject.
Sample Agency
A licensed local agency specialising in coastal properties, with English-speaking staff. This text shows how a real directory entry will read.

Lawyers & legal support
Independent lawyers for due diligence, contracts, land registry and — for non-EU buyers — ministry consent or company formation.
Worth clarifying up front: what the fee covers and what is billed separately, whether the land-registry check is included, and who is responsible for the contract translation. A lawyer you instruct yourself acts for you alone — that is the whole reason to instruct one rather than rely on someone else's.
Your practice here?
We'd like to list independent lawyers who regularly work with international buyers.
Translators & interpreters
Certified court interpreters for contract signings, plus translators for documents, permits and official correspondence.
Worth checking: a certified court interpreter is a different qualification from a general translator, and sworn translations or notary appointments generally call for the former. Ask whether they are on the court register, whether they can attend in person if the appointment requires it, and how long a document turnaround usually takes.
Your service here?
Certified interpreters and translators are among the most requested contacts.
Renovation & building
Builders and craftsmen experienced with Dalmatian stone houses, extensions, pools and energy-efficient modernisation.
Worth settling in writing: who applies for the permits, whether the quote is a fixed price or an estimate, how the schedule copes with the summer months when every trade is busiest, and what happens to the price if the structure turns out worse than expected once the work is opened up.
Your company here?
International owners constantly ask for reliable builders — be findable.
Property management & rentals
Key holding, cleaning, maintenance and full holiday-rental management — including guest registration and tourist-tax compliance.
Worth clarifying: what the monthly fee actually includes, who handles guest registration and the tourist tax, how often someone visits the property outside the rental season, and who you reach when a pipe fails in February. Most of the value of a manager shows up in the months nobody is thinking about.
Your service here?
Most international owners live abroad — property managers are in high demand.
Photography & marketing
Property photographers, drone operators and staging services that make listings stand out to international buyers.
Worth agreeing before the shoot: who holds the usage rights to the images and for how long, whether drone footage is included or billed separately, and how quickly the files arrive. A listing that waits three weeks for its photographs misses the season it was aimed at.
Your studio here?
Agencies and private owners look for photographers through the guide.
What we ask of every entry
These conditions apply to every provider listed here. They exist so that you know what an entry does and does not mean — and so that a business knows what to prepare before applying.
- A registered business. Where the work requires a licence or registration in Croatia, we ask to see it before the entry appears.
- Contact details published openly. Enquiries go straight to the provider. We do not sit between you and them, and we do not pass your details to anyone.
- No commission and no payment per enquiry. A paid placement buys visibility on this page and nothing else. Paid placements are marked as advertising.
- One entry per business, in the categories it actually works in — not in every category it might one day cover.
- Reviewed before publication, and removed once a business stops trading or stops answering.
- No ranking, no rating, no recommendation. This is a directory, not a league table. Which provider you choose is your decision, and we are not party to what you agree with them.
